On February 6, 2026, the BOUNTYKINDS team shared the latest updates on off-season events and the project’s future roadmap during an official YouTube livestream.
The broadcast outlined key actions from Season 7, upcoming community events, and major system updates planned for Season 8 and beyond.
1. Actions Taken Against Rule Violations in Season 7
During Season 7, the team confirmed cases where players transferred high-rarity NFT characters between multiple accounts to manipulate PvP rankings.
- Actions Taken
The accounts involved had their rewards revoked and were removed from the rankings. - Future Policy
The operations team continuously monitors on-chain data. If similar violations are detected again, strict measures including account suspension will be enforced.
2. Off-Season Social Media Events
To keep the community engaged during the off-season before the next season begins, three social media events will be held sequentially:
- Zealy Event: Scheduled to start around February 10
- Discord Sticker Contest: Planned for mid-February
- X (formerly Twitter) Giveaway: Late February to early March
These events are designed to keep players active and entertained during the extended off-season caused by server upgrades and maintenance.
3. Updated Roadmap and Future Development
To ensure long-term sustainability and expand the user base, the project roadmap has been significantly updated.
Stage 1
- Daily Missions
Players will be able to earn rewards such as BWP and lottery tickets by completing activities in the Bounty Hall, Maps, Arena, and more. - Game Balancing and Adjustments
In addition to bug fixes, balance adjustments will be made to maps and in-game shop prices (including yellow character fragments and jump cards).
Stage 2
This is the most important update, bringing a fundamental overhaul of the game system.
- Combat System Revamp (3D to 2D)
This change aims to reduce PC performance requirements and improve battle pacing. - Enhanced Strategic Depth
- Formation System
Front-line units will receive attack bonuses, while back-line units gain magic bonuses. Additional buffs will be granted for adjacent unit placements. - Strategy (Tactics) System
Players will be able to assign auto-battle behaviors to each character, such as aggressive or defensive strategies.
- Formation System
- Significant Increase in Character Count
Thanks to the lower development cost of 2D assets, the total number of characters—including existing ones—is expected to exceed 100.
Stage 3
・Various fixes and balance adjustments
・New NFT character implementation
・Scholarship Ver. 2
Stage 4
・Official release
・Mobile app release
・BKWD List
4. Vision and Technical Background
- Why Move to 2D
Developing 3D characters is costly and limits scalability. Switching to 2D allows the team to introduce a larger variety of characters, which is essential for expanding strategic gameplay. - Why Auto-Battle
To minimize the impact of server latency across different regions, the game adopts an auto-battle system rather than real-time action combat. - Ecosystem Sustainability
Maintaining and increasing token value requires growth in the paying player base. This major update is positioned as the top priority to achieve that goal.
