- User Level Reset
- New Battle System
- Item Changes
- Character Adjustment
- Upcoming Characters
- Ongoing/Upcoming Events
User Level Reset
With the start of the new season, all user levels have been reset to 0. This ensures fairness between long-time beta testers and new players, and improves matchmaking for PvP. Rewards for leveling up (like repair points) have been restructured to reflect the reset.
New Battle System
With the huge change of resetting the User Level also comes the huge changes in how the battle system are changed in the game! Let’s take a look at them.
1. Element Affinity System
Introducing this season the element system in which each element will be stronger/weaker to a specific element. Here’s the guide on the element system:
Element | Strong Against | Weak Against |
Aqua | Ignis | Eleki |
Ignis | Plant | Aqua |
Plant | Anima | Ignis |
Anima | Earth | Plant |
Earth | Elec | Anima |
Eleki | Aqua | Earth |
Each has one advantage and one disadvantage—making it easy to understand and strategize.
2. RNG Damage
Attack damage now includes variability. For example, the same attack might do 100 or 105 damage. This introduces an element of unpredictability when dealing damage both on your characters and your opponent’s.
3. Targeting System
Targets are now selected randomly, though some characters have targeting mechanics on their kit (e.g., closest, farthest, lowest HP, etc.). This encourages varied formation strategies.
4. Status Effects
Six new status effects have been added:
- Poison: The afflicted unit receives damage at the end of each turn.
- Freeze: Reduces attack of the afflicted unit and receive a small amount of damage at the end of each turn.
- Burn: Reduces defense of the afflicted unit and receive a small amount of damage at the end of each turn.
- Bleed: Reduces healing received of the afflicted unitand receive a small amount of damage at the end of each turn.
- Paralysis: The afflicted unit would have reduced speed and a chance to be immobilized for 1 turn.
- Stun: The afflicted unit is guaranteed to be immobilized for 1 turn.
Addition of these status effects will increase the possibility of creative and strategic teams (e.g., poison teams, stun-lock tactics).
5. Luck (LUK):
Previously caused random “disasters”, which are game phenomenons that will debuff your enemy based on the disaster. Now, luck increases the chance to evade attacks (Evasion), making this stat more intuitive and easier to strategize around.
Item Reset
With this season, certain items will be removed at the end of the season.
Affected items include Fragment-type items:
- Luck’s Magical Fragments (Common, Uncommon, Rare)
- Character Fragments (Blue, Yellow)
- Item Fragments (Blue, Yellow)
- “Get Out of Jail” Fragments
- Barrier Penetration Fragments
*NFT versions are not affected.*
To prevent reset loss, players can craft 10 fragments into an NFT, which will be retained.
Character Adjustment
Some Characters had their stats and passives adjusted to balance their kit better in line with the introduction of the new battle system.
