Who is Abe no Seimei?
Abe no Seimei is Japan’s most renowned and powerful Onmyouji master. Though born human, he commands a wide array of magical arts, some even capable of manipulating the mystical forces of the Demon Tribes. Because of his unusual power, many have speculated that he may be of mixed heritage, though his true origins remain a mystery. His rare ability to access magic across different races makes him one of the most formidable sorcerers in BOUNTYKINDS.

This passive is one of Abe no Seimei’s defensive abilities. It makes it so that there will be a chance to inflict your attacking opponent with paralysis which will greatly hinder their team in attacking
| Normal Attack: When dealing damage to an enemy, the enemy’s DEF is reduced by 15%. |
This ability is simple but effective. Reducing your opponent’s DEF is a good way to increase your team’s damage output even without having to damage them.
| Ultimate (4 Rage Points Requirement): Removes all ability reduction and stacks received from enemies on all allies. Afterwards, grants all allies a shield to 30% of their max HP for 3 turns. |
This ultimate classifies Abe no Seimei as a cleanser support. Being able to remove debuffs and stacks your team received from the opponents is a new mechanic. This adds a new depth in team building because focusing on debuff and stack characters like Nuwa and Asterisk may be countered if this character is on the field. To put a cherry on top, the shield from this ultimate also scales with max health which means tank characters with huge health will benefit more from it.

Qin Shi Huang
This character can be a really good synergy with Qin Shi Huang on a defensive team. Qin Shi Huang’s ability to provide rage points may allow Abe no Seimei use his ultimate earlier and more frequently.
Jehanne Darc
Jehanne would really work with Abe no Seimei well. Jehanne can deal damage which can be amplified by Abe no Seimei’s DEF reduction. Both Jehanne and Abe no Seimei also provides team-wide shields which will protect the whole team. With these two, you’d be able to cover both offense and defense at the same time!
A-81 / C-81
These two machines in general are very good with Abe no Seimei, especially on defensive teams. Their ultimate when used alongside Abe no Seimei’s ultimate will be a galore of shields from left and right. Good luck on your opponents who tries to break them!
Charlotte Quinn
Charlotte Quinn still remains one of the best DPS in the game. Her punches are always reliable to take down your opponents. You can say that her only weakness would be that she’s a little bit squishy. For this reason, we believe that pairing her up with Abe no Seimei might really help with her survivability because of his shielding, cleansing, and paralyzing abilities.
