Who is Fuubao?
Fuubao, belonging to the beast tribe, is the upcoming playable character in BountyKinds, which can be obtained through the gacha. He is a Panda that uses his ninja skills in battle to attack the enemies and prevent them from damaging him. He will be a character that will start as uncommon as you get him into your roster, and can be upgraded up to rare.

Looking at these stats, we can see that his attack is currently the prominent stat. With this, we can surmise that Fuubao will most likely be a character with damaging capabilities.
Attack Style
Fuubao will attack the lowest current HP opponent, making sure that he will go for the squishy enemies first, as they tend to have high damaging capabilities in the team.
Element
Fuubao can only have the Plant as his element. This means that all Fuubaos will be strong against characters with Anima as their element. Though this will also mean that Fuubao will be weak against characters with the Ignis element.
Fuubao’s Abilities and Passives
Now let’s take a look at what Fuubao can do in battle by looking at his abilities and passives in the battlefield.
| Passive: When hit with a normal attack, there is a 50% chance of countering 30% of the damage received. |
This ability gives Fuubao another chance for Fuubao to deal damage to enemies. Although it is restricted to only normal attacks and only has a 50% chance to trigger, it is still a good source of damage that also scales based on how much damage the enemy deals to Fuubao.
*Note: Fuubao’s counter does not generate rage points*
| Ultimate: (4 Rage Points Required) Creates an avatar that fights alongside Panda for one turn. Deals “elemental damage” (150% ATK), and for the next turn only, the avatar becomes a substitute for the opponent’s attacks, avoiding damage. |
This Ultimate of Fuubao serves both as damage and protection for Fuubao. Since Fuubao prioritizes the lowest current health enemy, this ultimate that does damage means every turn, there is no downtime to his DPS. But, the star of the show and what makes Fuubao different from other NFts is the part of his ultimate to create an avatar (clone) and have it damage it instead of the main body, which gives him really good defensive capabilities without relying on the defense stat and Luck’s evade. This also works well with Fuubao’s passive where Fuubao can still do counters without even receiving damage from the enemy because it will be the Avatar that will receive the damage instead!
*Note: The ability to prevent damage from enemy attacks will only be effective the turn after the Fuubao casts his ultimate.*
Fuubao Character Summary
With this , it’s fair to say that Fuubao is a character with offensive capabilities and some unconventional defensive abilities. Without relying on Defense, Fuubao is able to prevent enemies from damaging him with the avatar he creates with his clone while giving Fuubao opportunity to do counter damage. This way, Fuubao will be able to dish out damage while ensuring his survival on the battlefield.
