Qin Shi Huang Strategy Guide – How to Maximize the Power of the First Emperor

SHARE

Who is Qin Shi Huang?

Qin Shi Huang, belonging to the Humanoid tribe, is the newest playable character in BountyKinds, which can be obtained through the gacha. He is the first Emperor of China and the leader who unified the country. If you get him, he’ll have a base rarity of rare, which means his base level cap is 60!

What does Qin Shi Huang do?

Qin Shi Huang’s focus on his kit befits him as a renowned leader; he heads to battle and supports his allies by providing both immense offensive and defensive buffs! The most Iconic part of his kit allows him to provide a rage point to any ally that’s in the same row when dealing damage! If you don’t know, rage points are the bar that charges, which allows characters to use their ultimate, which means if Qin Shi Huang is in the team, one of your allies can cast ultimate faster!

Qin Shi Huang’s Abilities and Passives

For context, let’s take a look at Qin Shi Huang’s abilities and passives in the game:

Passive: At the start of battle, increase all allies’ SPD by 20%.

This ability of Qin Shi Huang allows your allies to get priority in attacking more easily, helping you ensure that your characters will act first before your opponents.

Basic Attack: When dealing damage, grant 1 Rage point and 20% damage reduction to the ally in the same row as Qin Shi Huang until the end of the turn

This part of the kit is what sets Qin Shi Huang apart from other characters. Not only does he give a defensive buff to your ally that allows them to stay longer in battle, but he also provides rage points to an ally, which is a huge boost, especially for characters with impactful ultimates. Take note, these buffs are only applied to the ally in the same row as him (horizontal line), so make sure to pay attention to where you place your characters.

Ultimate: (4 Rage Points Required) For 2 turns, increase all allies’ ATK by 50%, damage reduction by 30%, and counter 30% of damage received.

The ultimate of Qin Shi Huang provides really good buffs that both boost your damaging capabilities, but also give your characters good survivability by giving 30% damage reduction. On top of all those, the damage reduced from the buff is returned to your enemy. This kind of buff fits all kinds of team compositions, so no matter if you want to play defensively or offensively.

Qin Shi Huang Build Recommendation

Stat Priority

For Qin Shi Huang, the most important stat would be SPEED. On his kit, you might have noticed that the damage reduction buff from his basic attack only lasts for one turn, so it’s important to apply it before your opponents get to attack so that the buffed ally would take less damage from an enemy attack.

Suggested Weapons

Demon Eater

Mainly, you would want to equip this weapon because it gives a 25 speed stat to the equipped NFT, which Qin Shi Huang wants. On top of the additional speed stat, this weapon also has the special ability to deal 40% more damage against Demon tribes while this weapon is equipped. Additionally, if the equipped NFT deals lethal damage to a Demon character, its tribe’s passive to revive itself will not trigger, which is really great when you’re against those persistent Demon tribe characters.

Raging Tempest

This weapon gives the equipped NFT a 35 speed stat, which is the highest flat speed stat in the game currently. This weapon is perfect if you want to make sure that your Qin Shi Huang always acts first. Though it comes with a passive that increases the damage dealt to Aqua characters by 20% and reduces the damage they deal by 30%. The drawback is that the equipped character will deal 20% less damage to all other elements that are not Aqua. Overall, this is still a really good weapon option for Qin Shi Huang; his role on the team is more of a supporter than a damage dealer, so sacrificing some damage for the sake of utilizing his kit better is a good trade.

Who should you team up with Qin Shi Huang?

We’ve already established that Qin Shi Huang is suited to support or boost his allies, so now let’s talk about which allies would be great to team up with. I’ll split these into two types of composition, which are the Offensive team composition and the Defensive team composition.

Offensive Team Comp

Charlotte Quinn

We already know that Charlotte Quinn deals a lot of damage by herself, with Qin Shi Huang boosting her, she will be able to dish out those heavy-hitting attacks faster thanks to Qin Shi Huang’s speed buff, but also heavier when Qin Shi Huang’s ult buff is up. Also, if you tune your speed so that Qin Shi Huang takes action before Charlotte does, Charlotte Quin will be able to use her ultimate every 2 turns because of Qin Shi Huang’s ability to give rage points. With this combo, enemies will drop one by one.

Beelzebub

Beelzebub is good for damaging all enemies at the same time. With Qin Shi Huang, Beelzebub will get a boost of damage from Qin Shi Huang’s ultimate, allowing him to wipe out the enemies faster. Similar to Charlotte, Beelzebub will also be able to use his Ultimate faster than usual. With Qin Shi Huang in the team to give Rage points, Beelzebub would be able to use his ultimate as early as turn 4! Use this combo and see to it that all opponents get their health shredded every turn by Beelzebub!

Minion Devil/Minion Devil (Subspecies)

Minion devils are good for prioritizing and finishing off enemies with the lowest health. If you pair this character with Qin Shi Huang, minion devils will be an assassination machine with high speed and good damage output that will also benefit from more frequent ults thanks to the rage points Qin Shi Huang provides. The damage reduction buff Qin Shi Huang also helps with Minion devil’s squishy health and defense, which is good to help Minion devil survive throughout the battle.

Defensive Team Comp

A-81 / C-81

These good old machines are known as tanks of the game, with Qin Shi Huang’s ability to provide rage points. Pairing him with this character allows A-81 / C-811 to cast their shields faster and more frequently, ensuring that the team’s defenses are tight.

Aucloe

Aucloe is one of the best tanks in the game, with the only downside of taking more damage from other God tribe characters. She has an ability that allows her to evade one instance of attack. If you use it with Qin Shi Huang and he acts first, she will be able to use her ultimate every two turns, which will allow her to dish out damage faster and allow her to evade one attack again. That way, your team will have better chances of surviving in battle.

Jehanne Darc

Jehanne is a good mixture of defensive and offensive capabilities. With access to shields and heals for the whole team while dealing damage to all enemies, she’s a versatile character that works well with Qin Shi Huang. So far, all the buffs Qin Shi Huang provides have benefited Jehanne Darc greatly. The speed buff helps Jehanne act first and provide a shield for the whole team. The rage point Qin Shi Huang gives allows Jehanne to use her ultimate faster, which heals all teammates as well as gives them damage reduction. Lastly, Qin Shi Huang’s Ultimate further increases the team’s survivability while increasing Jehannes’ damage output, which can eliminate threats from the enemy. With this combo, you’ll be able to achieve a team that refuses to be defeated!
