Barriers are points that you can use to defend yourself from the opponent’s attack in the Arena. When you are attacked then lose against an opponent in the Arena, if your barrier is on, then that fight will result with no loss on your BWP.
On the other hand, Barrier Penetration is an item you can use when you are attacking an opponent in the Arena. Using this item will nullify the effects of the opponents barrier, so when you attack them and they lose, they will lose BWP as if their Barrier is off.
How to Use Barrier
Here’s the step by step on how you use Barrier and Barrier Penetration Item.
1. Go to the Arena
First, head to the arena by clicking the “Arena” that can be found in the upper middle part of the game’s Main Menu.
2. Check if you have Barrier Points
Now that you are in the Arena, first check if you have barrier points by looking at the top left side of the screen as displayed in the Picture.
*If you don’t have any Barrier Points, you can stake your Weapon NFTs to acquire some.
3.Turn On and Off your Barrier
You can turn on your Barrier by clicking on the section that is shown in the image below. You can manually control if you want your barrier on or off.
NOTE: If you turn on your barrier, it will remain on unless you run out of Barrier Points. Barrier will automatically turn off once your Barrier Points is depleted, in this case, you have to manually turn it on again once you get Barrier Points.
Checking If Your Barrier Worked
In order to see the workings of the barrier, you can check the history section that you can see in the Arena, just like shown on the image below.

How to Use Barrier Penetration
That’s about it for the Barrier, next is how to use the Barrier Penetration Item. This item has a fixed number of uses per day, which depends on the user level.
1. Click the Battle Button in the Arena
Now that you’re in the arena, click the battle button that can be found in the bottom side of the Arena screen.
Note: even though you see the sign “-1 FFE”, don’t be afraid you won’t be deducted FFE right after you click it. You will still have to confirm and actually battle your enemy before it does deduct.
2. Distinguish if the Opponent has Barrier On or Off
Depending on the state of the opponent’s barrier, Barrier Penetration may or may not be usable.
2-1 If the opponent has a barrier turned on
If the opponent’s barrier was on, as shown in the image, you can use the Barrier Penetration. Proceed to step 3.
2-2 If the opponent has their barrier turned off
If the opponent’s barrier was off, as shown in the image, you are not capable of using Barrier Penetration. Check the enemy situation again when fighting another enemy.
3. Click Barrier Penetration Icon
Click the Barrier Penetration Icon as shown in Image below
4. Choose the Barrier Penetration Fragment then Confirm
Choose the Barrier Penetration then click confirm to use the item.
NOTE: Barrier Penetration Fragments can be obtained from staking weapon NFT for the Arena Pass.
5. Confirm and Fight your Enemy
It is possible to reduce the BWP protected by an opponent’s barrier by fighting a battle and defeating the opponent!
NOTE：If you lose a battle to an opponent, you lose your BWP and your pass is used as normal. The number of uses will also be reduced as normal.

The Arena Pass allows you to increase the number of Barriers and earn Barrier Penetrations by staking weapons.
